Boeing 747-8 Photos
The Boeing 747-8 photographed from factory floor to first flight and into airline service.
The 747-8 was the last 747, and it was photographed from the start. This album follows it from bare structure on the Everett floor through paint, roll-out and first flight to airline service.
It is worth watching the wing in these pictures. The 747-8 was given an entirely new wing rather than a modified 747-400 one, and in the assembly shots the raked tip that replaced the 747-400’s upright winglet is clearly visible.
