Boeing-747.com is a static reference site about an aircraft. There are no accounts, no shopping, no newsletter and no advertising. This page sets out exactly what happens when you visit.

What the site does not do

Consent for third-party content

Two things are blocked by default because both would disclose your IP address to a third party: the analytics measurement, and YouTube thumbnails. On your first visit you are asked whether to allow them, and neither is requested until you say yes.

Declining costs you nothing but the thumbnails — every page, video link and piece of text works normally either way, and any individual thumbnail can still be shown on request without changing your overall choice. The only other effect is that your visit is not counted.

Analytics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, and only if you allow it.

It is cookie-free and does not fingerprint visitors or follow them across other websites. It reports aggregate information — page views, referring sites, broad country-level location, browser and device type — rather than anything identifying an individual.

Even so, it is a request to a third party that reveals your IP address, so it is treated like any other: the measurement script is not loaded on page view. It is only fetched from static.cloudflareinsights.com after you consent. If you decline, or simply never answer, no measurement is ever taken and no request is made.

The practical consequence is that the visitor figures for this site undercount real traffic, which is an acceptable price for not measuring people who did not agree to it.

Third parties that see your request

Being honest about this matters more than the reassuring paragraph most policies use.

Cloudflare hosts and serves the site, so your request necessarily reaches Cloudflare’s network, which processes the connection and applies standard security and abuse protection. This is unavoidable — it is how the page reaches you — and is separate from the optional analytics described above. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy governs that processing.

YouTube (Google) — this is the one worth knowing about, and the reason the consent notice exists. Pages that feature a video display its thumbnail, loaded from i.ytimg.com, a Google domain. Loading it discloses your IP address and the page you are on to Google.

None of that happens unless you allow it. Thumbnails are held back until you consent, and if you decline, no request is ever made to Google.

The video itself is never loaded until you press play, whatever your choice. The player is embedded only at that point, and through youtube-nocookie.com rather than the standard YouTube domain. Pressing play is itself a clear request to watch a YouTube video; once you do, Google’s terms and privacy policy apply to that playback.

Nothing else. No fonts, scripts, or other assets are loaded from anywhere else; everything else is served from this site’s own domain.

The site links out to museums, NASA, Wikipedia and other references. Those sites have their own privacy policies and this one does not apply to them.

If you email

If you write to boeing747@0a0.info, that email and your address are kept for as long as needed to deal with what you raised. It is not added to any list and not passed to anyone.

Children

The site is a general-interest reference and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
